• Vodlix is a comprehensive solution for launching your video streaming platform, encompassing essential components such as video uploading, encoding, streaming, a versatile video player, metadata management, content management system (CMS), administrative panel, user administration, subscription management, and payment processing to empower video streaming entrepreneurs with a scalable, feature-rich platform.
• As the primary developer, I spearheaded the creation of Vodlix's Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and its inaugural stable version. The initial iteration of Vodlix operated on an API-based CMS architecture. Concurrently, I assumed responsibility for both front-end and back-end development. Leveraging PHP's Slim micro-framework, I meticulously crafted APIs to ensure a streamlined codebase, prioritizing efficiency and performance.
• For the MVP's user experience (UX), I adopted Vue.js to engineer intuitive interfaces. Additionally, I integrated Nuxt.js to capitalize on server-side rendering capabilities, optimizing Vodlix for superior Search Engine Optimization (SEO) performance.
• Throughout the development lifecycle, I played a pivotal role in implementing all the features integral to Vodlix's functionality. From video management to subscription services, each aspect received meticulous attention to detail, ensuring seamless integration and user experience.
