Throughout this educational journey, I not only acquired in-depth knowledge of various programming languages and software concepts but also had the opportunity to cultivate essential soft skills. Engaging in group projects and assignments honed my collaborative problem-solving skills, teaching me how to navigate challenges collectively.

• oladoc.com, Pakistan's leading digital healthcare platform, links patients with doctors through online booking, video consultations, also helps them in booking lab tests and medicine. I am actively contributing towards platforms' overall performance and user experience, particularly in optimizing website speed and responsiveness following Google's core web vitals update. Recognizing the significance of this challenge, we decided to address and rectify the issues. I have assumed a leadership role, leading and driving all related activities to ensure the successful achievement of our objectives. We have witnessed significant success in this area, and I continue to actively work on further performance enhancements, improving core web vitals, boosting search rankings, and fostering business growth by augmenting organic traffic while reducing ad costs.
• I introduced the video consultation feature on oladoc, a vital enhancement enabling virtual healthcare interactions. This empowers patients to consult with doctors conveniently and safely from home, especially during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The service played a pivotal role in supporting the community during lockdowns, ensuring uninterrupted healthcare access and contributing to the ongoing success of the company's operations.
• Played a pivotal role in the development of oladoc's two key products, oladoc Labs and oladoc Pharmacy, providing users with a comprehensive end-to-end digital health experience. These initiatives are presently undergoing continuous refinement and enhancement.
• Developed online tests booking system, allowing end users to book lab tests through add to cart flow, helping users to book medical tests with home sample collection and get reports online without the need of going out to hospital or lab.
• Designed booking through doctor prescription system that empowers end users to directly order medicines or lab tests based on doctor prescriptions.
• Enhanced the functionality of the doctor appointment booking module to refine the overall booking experience, resulting in a notable increase in booking rates.
• Integrated self hosted typesense search implemented indexing and search the collections and documents which helped reducing operating cost which was previously being spent on algolia cloud search.
• Actively contributed to the enhancements of legacy systems by leading the upgrade process of outdated modules.
• Developed APIs for oladoc's mobile applications, catering to both the patient-oriented "oladoc" app and the practitioner-focused "my practice" app.

• Skillfully maintained and modernized the legacy portal of Phonecheck Cloud, which initially utilized CodeIgniter 2 with HMVC. This involved discarding outdated code and implementing updates to significantly enhance system performance.
• Played a key role in the development of APIs catering to both desktop and mobile applications, ensuring seamless communication and integration across platforms.
• Addressed foundational issues within the company's cloud infrastructure, resulting in tangible benefits for esteemed clients such as Brightstar and Gazelle, prominent players in the field of mobile diagnostics. • Worked on Clipbucket which is an open source (https://github.com/arslancb/clipbucket) video streaming CMS project based on Core PHP and Smarty v3 and was actually the back bone of Tune.pk once Pakistan's most famous streaming website.
• Developed and maintained closed source version of Clipbucket (https://clipbucket.com) with customized solutions for company's corporate clients worldwide.
• Handled Multimedia via scripting by utilizing open source libraries like FFmpeg, Imagemagick.
• Implemented the cutting edge streaming technologies like HLS, DASH and replaced old rather boring mp4 streaming with in the product which helped in overall growth of product and helped company attaining more clients.
• Developed, upgraded, and maintained plugins for Clipbucket based on client specifications, including custom requirements such as revenue sharing and Clipbucket multiserver plugins.
• Contributed to the development of Vodlix, a video streaming CMS, with a focus on elevating the user experience. Utilized Nuxt.js for handling the UI and UX aspects, while implementing the Slim micro framework for APIs. While Vodlix was a distinct product, it shared certain components with Clipbucket, such as video conversion and compression module.
